Programme Updates and New Terms & Conditions
June marks the start of a new financial year for us at SuperFOIL, and we have many exciting developments planned to foster growth, stability, and continuous improvement for the Approved Installer Programme.
To support this, we have introduced a new set of terms and conditions, effective from the beginning of June. We encourage you to read the full document at your convenience…
But we’ve also gone ahead and highlighted the most notable changes below…
Recertification: To maintain Approved Installer status, installers will now be required to recertify every three years. Regularly submitting jobs will exempt you from needing to re-attend a training session.
Job Sign-Off: All projects submitted for rebate must be signed off by a SuperFOIL-trained and carded installer.
Rebate Submission Deadline: To qualify for a rebate, jobs must be submitted via the AIP reporting system within 30 days of completion, unless an extension has been granted.
For complete details, please make sure you review the full Terms and Conditions. And, of course, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
It’s Rebate Time
The start of a new quarter means that rebates from the previous quarter will be processed shortly.
If you have submitted qualifying jobs in the last quarter — and your rebate amount exceeds £50 — you can expect to receive payment directly into your business account this month.
Member Spotlight: World Solar Moves to Silver Tier!
We want to extend a huge congratulations to Billy Milligan and the team at World Solar on their advancement from the Bronze to the Silver membership tier!
With the support of Dan at Greenguard, Billy and his team have submitted an astronomical 267 jobs in a single quarter.
And that makes it no wonder that World Solar also recently became one of our first installers to purchase their products directly from us, with their order of a full container of SF19+.

This marks a significant milestone for the programme, as we have not traditionally offered direct supply.
If you are interested in learning more about the possibility of direct supply, then please contact your account manager for eligibility details.
Members Photo Gallery
This month, we are highlighting the superb work of Brady Goacher from Goacher Property Management Ltd., who recently submitted his first project.
Below are a couple of photos from the installation, showcasing his excellent work.

Your Dedicated Account Executives
As mentioned last month, our Account Management team is now your primary point of contact for stock enquiries and any other support you may need. Many of you who recently attended training in Lincoln have already met the team.
Going forward, your dedicated account executive will be reaching out to learn more about your business and how we can best support you.

Quality Mark IBGs Reinstated!
We are pleased to announce that following KIWA’s granting of our Agrément for our Internal Wall Insulation (IWI) system, Quality Mark has confirmed that Insurance Backed Guarantees (IBGs) are once again available for funded work using this system. This means that funded work using our products can now resume.
An email with the Agrément and all necessary information has been sent to you. We thank you for your patience and are here to answer any further questions.
SFNC Now Available for Rebate
As part of our recent change to the terms and conditions of the programme, we have expanded our list of rebate-eligible products to include SuperFOIL SFNC, our non-combustible insulation.
SuperFOIL SFNC is rated Class A1 fire resistant and is typically used in high-rise buildings where stringent fire safety standards are required.
As SFNC is a special order product, it is not typically stocked in merchants but can be ordered from us when needed. If you have a project where SFNC may be needed, please submit a technical enquiry through the AIP website for installation guidance.
Your dedicated account executive will also be available to assist with sourcing quotes and other details you may need about SFNC.
Technical Corner with Michael: Internal Wall Insulation (IWI) Solution
Following the recent Kiwa BDA Agrément certification for our IWI solution, I wanted to provide an overview of the solution to ensure all of our members are familiar with the specification.
It is crucial that the specification is followed precisely, as any deviation will affect the thermal values and compliance with the Agrément. The correct installation, including the specified air gaps created by battens, is essential for achieving the required U-value.
The complete build up for the solution should be as follows;
Existing Wall / 47mm Battens / SuperFOIL SF19+ / 47mm Battens / Internal Finish

The above cross-section is intended to give you a clearer image of how the build up should look.
It is worth noting at this point that under normal conditions we would recommend a 38mm batten with SF19+, however when the solution is being used for funded work these larger battens must be used to achieve the required 0.30 U-Value.
Our full IWI insulation guide is available to provide you with more guidance if necessary, especially when it comes to specific elements of the IWI such as window reveals.
If you need it we can also forward the more detailed U-Value calculation which building control and the bodies involved in assessing funded works will need.
We will be putting in place an advanced training session to cover practical guidance for solutions such as IWI, so keep an eye out for that later this year.
In the meantime, don’t forget that our technical team are on hand to talk you through any project you’re working on. So don’t hesitate to either submit the details through your account or call in directly.
Cheers!
Michael
